As we begin to come to the close of 2017, and prepare to ring in another new year, I want to do the typical writer thing and tell you all how grateful and thankful I am for each and every one of you.
Cliche? Yeah, but so what, that doesn’t make it any less true. ?
I hope you all had a beautiful and joyous holiday, however you and your loved ones choose to celebrate it. As for me, my son and I (and the cats, Finley and Simon) spent the day making our traditional Christmas feast, spent the afternoon eating it…. and then the evening not able to get up from the couch. I love it and wouldn’t change a single thing about it!
My two favorite gifts this year… well, actually three because two of them I can’t choose between, were a set of framed photographs from my son, and he also got me a HUGE(!!) new coffee mug – which yeah, I’m a writer, so I may have more coffee in me than actual blood… the verdict is still out. ?
The other gift I received this year was from YOU. (and no, not being all sappy and cliche this time!)
You all took Edelaine’s Folly all the way to #48 in the Bestseller list on Amazon!
Yeah… you guys did that – and I am beyond grateful. So thank you, thank you, thank you!! My son and I celebrated that all day!
But now the holiday is behind us… and it is time for this writer to get back to, you know.. writing.
