Indie Author Adventures #35 – Ready for Fall

Welcome back, friends — hard to believe we are this far through 2019 already! But I am ready for fall, it’s my absolute favorite time of year! So, pull up a chair, grab some coffee (no pumpkin spice please!), and join me for a spell.

This Past Week

Anyone who knows me knows I prefer to be busy! And thankfully I am blessed to have the best (2) jobs… being an author, and teaching / coaching other writers! Sometimes it can be a struggle managing the hours needed to make sure I still have time to write while also helping others — but it’s a “struggle” I wouldn’t trade for anything!

I haven’t had quite as much time as I normally like for my fiction writing… but writing course outlines (and recording those courses), and working on my upcoming nonfiction series is a lot of fun and so incredibly fulfilling.

A reminder though — for myself and any of you out there who tend to work *way* too many hours… it’s okay to take a day off every now and again. 😉  In fact, it’s absolutely critical so that you can recharge, regroup, and then get back to work refreshed and ready to conquer the world! 😉😎

Big Takeaway

We humans have lost the wisdom of genuinely resting and relaxing. We worry too much. We don't allow our bodies to heal, and we don't allow our minds and hearts to heal. ~Thich Nhat Hanh Click To Tweet
