It’s getting colder, but I know we have to make this trip. We crossed the summit of the Pass today. I could see what seemed like forever in both directions.
Funny, how the home I’ve always known looks so small from here. Looks so small compared to the view stretching out on the other side of the mountains. I just don’t see how one person can change any of this alone. But I guess I must try.
What can someone do in the wake of a tragedy? Go on. That is all that can be done. How will Cali face the trials facing Edelaine?
